Exceptional Horned Trophy Rams
Based in the rolling pastures of North Canterbury, Pacific Rams is dedicated to advancing high-calibre ovine genetics with a focus on conservation, resilience, and animal wellbeing.
Pacific Rams
Specialist Breeding & Genetic Conservation
With over 15 years’ experience, Pacific Rams breeds distinctive horned sheep and offers selected trophy rams to parks, private estates and specialist breeders. The flock includes a visually varied selection of horned rams, from broad open arches to dense spirals and the distinctive four-horn formation. Perfect for those looking to establish high-calibre flocks.
Separate from our breeding business, our privately funded Rare Breed Genetic Ark preserves heritage sheep bloodlines through semen collection and cryogenic storage. Semen from selected four-horned, Arapawa, Woodstock and Karakul rams is stored with Xcell, in Woodend providing a secure genetic resource for future conservation breeding and helping protect rare bloodlines.
At Pacific Rams, we carefully select our animals for sound genetics, excellent physical condition, distinctive horn development and outstanding potential.
We are committed to long-term flock health, outstanding structural traits and the preservation of valuable genetics.
We specialise in supplying quality live rams to trophy-hunting game parks, private estates and smallholders seeking to establish or enhance their flocks.
Uncompromised compliance, animal welfare protocols, and rigorous health inspection standards.
Through careful handling, experienced livestock management and reliable transport arrangements, we help ensure every animal arrives healthy, settled and ready to thrive in its new environment.
Our commitment is to long-term flock health, outstanding structural traits and the preservation of valuable genetics.
